What is a Massage Therapist?

A qualified remedial massage therapist will have a Diploma of Remedial Massage, a qualification which takes a number of years to obtain. Our therapists have a number of years of work experience post qualification which uniquely suits them to helping you achieve your health goals.

Are you covered by health funds?

Yes, all of our therapists are covered by most of the health funds. See the booking page for the rare occurrence where a particular health fund doesn't cover a particular therapist.

We have a HICAPS machines onsite and can process you health fund card on the spot.

How many visits will I need?

The number of sessions depends on the individual person and why you visited us. Some people come once and have their issues resolved and others come for a weekly massage to relax and take a break from the daily bustle.

 

What should I wear to my appointment?

Feel free to come in anything. However, so that you will be comfortable it is best to wear modest underwear or a pair of shorts if you wish.

Do I have to be referred by a doctor?

No, massage therapists can be visited without a referral. Health funds will also cover you without one, however if you plan to claim under NSW WorkCover you will have to bring the proper forms from a doctor.

So that we can give your appointment to another customer we require at ample notice.
No charge:  4 hrs before the appointment you may cancel your appointment directly (check the link on your confirmation email) or call us on 99 59 57 88 and leave a message.

60% charge: if we can't fill your spot. If you have to cancel on short notice (less than 4hrs before), forgot about the appointment or have any other reason that stops you from having your massage, we need to charge you 60% of the fee. Thanks for understanding and supporting these measures as it directly affects the therapists pay and livelihood.
