If you have never visited North Shore Remedial Massage before or have yet to receive a professional massage therapy session, we thought it would be helpful for you to know what you can expect on your first visit.

Before your session begins, we kindly ask that you fill in the customer card. These can be found in the waiting area. This card gives us a first look into what your needs are and how we can best help you during the session. Once you are shown into the treatment room your therapist will ask you more specifically about your needs and if there are any areas you would like to focus on. If at any time during the session, a technique or stroke is used that causes pain or is uncomfortable please alert the therapist immediately.

To provide privacy and comfort your massage therapist will leave the room and wait outside while you disrobe. Once disrobed, we ask that you lie on the massage table under the towel provided. Your massage therapist will give you a few minutes for this process and will knock on the door to ask if you are ready before entering your room.

If anything is unclear, the therapist is happy to walk you through the process before you begin.

To help you relax and revitalise the body and mind only 100% pure essential oils are used throughout the treatment. Before the session begins you can choose your own blend or ask your therapist to help you create a blend to relax and restore energy.
