Remedial massage is a complementary therapy used to aid damaged, knotted or tense muscles. Depending on the problem, either strong and deep or gentle and shallow pressure can be applied to locate and tackle the source of pain.
Remedial massage stimulates the blood supply, increases joint mobility and helps repair damaged tissue. Through easing and stabilising the muscles remedial massage can improve problems such as tension headaches, back pain, arthritis, muscles cramps and a multitude of other ailments.
During the session, the therapist will use creams or oils to massage the skin smoothly and apply pressure to the muscles associated with the problem.
